At Sorry! Comedy Supply, our mission is simple: More laughs. More often.
We are powering the growth of live comedy through our soon-to-be launched booking platform, in partnership with the Sorry! Comedy Festival.
We’re looking for an entrepreneurial, sales-driven student/recent grad to help scale our venue network across the GTA, Hamilton, and London corridor.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and execute a scalable go-to-market system to acquire venue partners (bars, pubs, golf courses, breweries, entertainment venues)
- Develop outbound pipelines using digital tools (email, CRM, LinkedIn) to generate and manage qualified leads
- Drive conversion through calls, emails, and in-person visits with venue owners/managers
- Test and refine messaging, outreach scripts, and simple marketing assets based on real performance data
- Manage the full funnel from first contact through onboarding and repeat platform use
Requirements
- Proven experience in go-to-market strategy development or related roles within marketing or sales environments
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful deal-making
- Proficiency in marketing principles and tools, including Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
- Experience in business development and customer relationship management
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to analyze data, draw insights, and make strategic decisions based on market feedback
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus
