Days Inn by Wyndham Kingston is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Maintenance Worker to help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for guests and staff. The successful candidate will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections throughout the hotel property.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance throughout the hotel.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance issues.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
- Repair or replace damaged fixtures, equipment, and building components.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Assist with equipment installation and property improvements.
- Follow all hotel safety procedures and maintenance standards.
- Keep records of repairs and maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance experience in a hotel, commercial, or industrial setting preferred.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Certifications or trade experience are considered an asset but are not required.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a welcoming and well-functioning hotel environment.
Pay: $18.50 per hour
