What will you do?
- Actively promote the Medium Voltage product portfolio and solutions in customer meetings and product presentations in the assigned territory
- Work directly with Consulting Engineers, Contractors and Canadian Mining companies supporting Canadian and export projects.
- Collaborate internally with various Siemens departments and business units.
- Drive business development initiatives for Medium Voltage products and power distribution solutions, with a focus on expanding market share and supporting sustainable business growth.
- Conduct customer visits to assess business opportunities, provide sales and technical support, and develop budgetary proposals tailored to customer needs.
- Develop strategic business plans to support market share objectives
- Drive business development initiatives within assigned key accounts and target markets, identifying and pursuing growth opportunities to expand market presence.
- Apply strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to deliver effective resolutions to complex, high-impact business and technical challenges.
- Provide strategic market insights and marketing recommendations to enhance market penetration, customer engagement, and overall business effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date opportunity pipelines and active project information within the CRM system to support forecasting and business planning.
- Deliver advanced technical application expertise and comprehensive support during critical sales engagements to strengthen customer confidence and drive successful outcomes.
- Represent the organization within relevant industry associations and standards bodies, contributing to and influencing industry standards and best practices.
- Deliver the highest degree of customer satisfaction in alignment with our Siemens brand.
- Participate in bid review meetings and travel to various sites across Canada as needed (Travel required 25%)

Location: This position will be based out of our Vancouver office
What will you need to succeed?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering; Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation is considered a strong asset.
- Proven experience (5–10 years) in mining applications, demonstrating expertise in electrical engineering systems, power distribution, and customer-focused solution development.
- Experience in the sales, application, or business development of electrical equipment / power distribution applications:
- Medium Voltage (MV) Switchgear
- Packaged Substations
- Proficient with CSA (Canadian Standards Association), CEC (Canadian Electrical Code)
- Ability to read Single Line Diagram and develop budget offers for clients (EPCs and end users)
- Demonstrate a commitment to excellence by maintaining high performance standards that exceed customer expectations and support Siemens' position as a trusted industry leader.
