Job Description:
The Inside Sales is responsible for the sales and supports the local marine industry by providing knowledgeable, technical, and helpful sales support, while building positive relationships with customers and suppliers.
A typical day may include but not restricted to:
· Determining customer needs and finding the right product to meet their requirements.
· Sourcing specialty items for customers.
· Continually developing industry and product knowledge to enhance client service.
· Sharing knowledge and cross training with other employees.
Required Qualifications and Abilities:
· Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in a retail environment, with technical inside/counter sales experience preferred.
· Marine product and maintenance knowledge would be considered a strong asset.
· Strong drive to provide excellent customer service.
· Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as effectively within a small team.
· High degree of attention to detail and accuracy and commitment to exceeding quality standards.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
· Ability to work on your feet and carry up to 45 lbs.
