Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with trucks, including engines (DD15 and D13 motors).
- Inspect and resolve issues reported by drivers and owner-operators.
- Conduct brake, safety, and preventive maintenance (PM) inspections.
- Perform repairs on trucks and trailers, including defect fixes and diesel unit repairs.
- Replace tires and conduct oil changes for both new and older trucks.
- Carry out regular preventative maintenance tasks and running repairs.
- Test and adjust truck systems to meet manufacturer specifications.
- Complete work orders and submit reports to management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in compliance with safety and health regulations.
- Operate and maintain necessary tools, including welding and shop equipment.

- Comprehensive knowledge of truck parts, equipment, and repair techniques.
- Proficiency in using trade tools, including welding equipment, shop machines, and power tools.
- Commitment to maintaining workplace safety and adhering to regulations.
Schedule:
- Flexible shifts: 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour options.
- Availability on weekends and holidays as needed.

As a 310-T Licensed Truck and Trailer Mechanic, you will be essential in maintaining and repairing a variety of vehicles and heavy equipment. Reporting to the Shop Supervisor, your role will involve utilizing your mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with power tools and automotive repair to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise in electrical systems and heavy lifting will enhance your ability to diagnose and address complex issues.
