Proudfoots is a locally owned family business that has been serving Pictou County since the 1930s.
This position is for flexible personalities who enjoy the challenge of various environments. Responsibilities will include revolving duties between the department and operating the cash register. This position would be trained in our Hardware Department work is a mix of retail tasks such as stocking shelves, price checking, tidying, cleaning, and dusting, all while providing excellent customer service. Experience is an asset but not essential; if you're willing to learn, we'll help you get there.
Requirements: Our preferred candidates are cheerful, hard working, and great team players. An ability to use computers is essential. Some lifting is required. This position is 15-30 hours per week with day and evening shifts. Working every second full week end. All staff participate in our bi-weekly bonus program and are eligible for an in-store discount. This position requires daytime availability and therefore is not suitable for students.
