Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated, high-energy Sales Representative to join our team and drive business growth. This is a full-time, in-office role based in Mississauga, focused on both acquiring new commercial clients and expanding relationships with existing accounts. The ideal candidate is a true go-getter who thrives on hard work, isn't afraid of rejection, and excels at proactive outreach—including heavy cold calling (in-person and phone), networking, and building trust with decision-makers in property and facility management.
You will play a key role in increasing revenue through persistent prospecting, consultative selling, and adapting to our proven sales systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively prospect and generate new business through cold calling (phone and in-person visits), door-to-door outreach to commercial properties, networking, referrals, and targeted lead generation.
- Identify and qualify potential clients, primarily property managers, facility managers, and building owners in the GTA.
- Conduct on-site roof inspections and assessments when needed to understand client needs and propose tailored commercial roofing solutions.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing accounts to identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities and increase share of wallet.
- Develop and present proposals, estimates, and quotes that address client pain points and demonstrate value.
- Negotiate contracts, close sales, and achieve or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
- Accurately track all sales activities, pipeline, and client interactions in our CRM/system.
- Adapt quickly to our internal sales processes, scripts, tools, and team workflows.
- Collaborate with our operations and project teams to ensure smooth handoffs and high customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed on commercial roofing trends, materials, and industry best practices.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in B2B, construction, commercial services, roofing, or related property management industries.
- Strong hunter mentality with a willingness to make 50+ cold calls/outreach efforts daily and conduct in-person visits regularly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—confident on the phone, in person, and in presentations.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable working independently while thriving in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability and willingness to learn and strictly follow our sales system and processes.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
- Comfortable working in an in-office setting in Mississauga full-time.
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in sales, business, or construction is an asset.
