Raywalt Construction is locally owned and specializes in trenching and installation of municipal utility infrastructure, including watermains and sewers. We are currently hiring Experienced Sewer and Water LEADHAND for the 2026 Season. Work is in Edmonton and Surrounding areas, head office is located in Acheson, Alberta.

Experience Required: 3 years minimum foreman’s experience with municipal subdivision servicing- mainline sewer, water, and house services.
Will be required to work as part of a team together with Superintendent and Project Manager. Must have leadership, planning and motivational skills. Leadhand to Foreman and assisting in ensuring crew safety, quality, and production.
Duties and Responsibilities-
Supervise crew in installation of mainline sewer, water and house services
Safety- maintain safe and compliant worksites for all workers in accordance with company safety policies. Complete required documentation including hazard assessments, toolbox talks, and inspections.
Quality- previous experience as pipelayer/topman. Ability to ensure work is being done correctly to specifications and standards.
Other position related tasks as required
Mentor and train new and returning workers
This position is seasonal, demanding, requires high attention to detail, fast paced.
Own PPE required: steel toed boots and gloves
Company supplied PPE: Vest, Safety glasses, and hard hat.
Clean drivers license required, company vehicle provided. Sites are in Edmonton and surrounding areas.
Shifts schedules are Monday to Friday 10-12 Hour shifts but may be extended depending on project requirements. Saturdays are 8 Hour shifts by may be extended depending on project requirements. Overtime - is paid at time and a half. Work is weather dependent. Shifts include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
3 years experience required; this is not an entry level position.
