Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support our operations, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Perform general maintenance and cleaning tasks on job sites
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
- Operate hand tools and power tools as needed
- Support skilled tradespeople in their tasks, providing assistance where required
- Maintain an organized work area, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to supervisors promptly
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is mandatory
- Must have a valid drivers license and a vehicle to meet at job sites
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed
- Basic knowledge of safety practices in a labor or construction environment is a plus
