Overview
The Service Dispatch/Coordinator is responsible for supporting daily service operations by
handling incoming service requests, creating and dispatching service calls, monitoring work orders, providing follow-up, and ensuring consistent communication with the service team and internal departments.
Responsibilities
- Receive, analyze, and process incoming service requests via telephone and email.
- Coordinate service calls with service providers by scheduling and dispatching to ensure prompt service.
- Maintaining accurate records in service software, creating and updating service work orders.
- Ensuring service calls are completed and handling all follow ups.
- Provide direction and instructions to assist customers with proper operation of their equipment.
- Identify parts and pricing, process parts orders and follow up to ensure parts are delivered to service providers.
- Provide warranty policy information as required.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure prompt and complete service.
- Verify and process service provider invoices.
- Work closely with Technical Support to resolve issues with equipment in the field.
- Update knowledge on new and existing products to enhance the quality and
- effectiveness of warranty and service support.
Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written skills.
- Excellent multitasking, organizational, communication and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail regarding data entry, scheduling and maintaining work orders.
- Competence with computer systems, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and service management software.
- Previous experience in dispatch, service coordination or administrative support role, ideally in technical or foodservice equipment.
- Basic knowledge of commercial refrigeration is an asset.
Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
