The London Cross Cultural Learner Centre ('CCLC') is a London, Ontario based non-profit organization that provides settlement services for newcomers to Canada. We are seeking a dependable and organized individual to provide backup reception coverage and administrative support on an as-needed basis. This role helps ensure the smooth operation of our office by providing reception services during staff absences and assisting with a variety of clerical and administrative projects. This is an on-site position working from our 505 Dundas St. location.
Key Responsibilities

Provide reception coverage during employee vacations, leaves, absences, and other periods when temporary reception support is needed.

Greet visitors and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.

Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls.

Monitor and respond to general inquiries as directed.

Perform administrative and clerical duties, including data entry, filing, scanning, photocopying, and document preparation.

Assist with special projects and other administrative tasks as assigned.

Maintain the confidentiality of organizational, employee, and client information.
Qualifications

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Previous reception, clerical, or administrative experience is considered an asset.
Hours of Work
This is a casual, on-call position. Hours will vary based on operational needs and may include reception coverage and project-based administrative support.
Please note that, due to the nature of our work with vulnerable clients in the community, a clear Vulnerable Persons Police Check is required as a condition of employment.
