Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Optometric Staff/Dispenser to join our dynamic eye care team. This role involves assisting with patient care, managing optical products, and supporting the overall operations of the optometry practice. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service, possess strong communication skills, and be eager to grow within the optical and healthcare industry. Prior experience in optical retail or medical settings is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated individuals. Responsibilities
- Assisting patients with the selection of their eyewear. Taking customized measurements specific to the patient's eyewear selection
- Processing patient's online insurance
- Entering patient's prescription into the order platform.
- Dispensing eyewear to patients once completed, including future adjustments and repairs when necessary
- Meeting with industry representatives to choose eyewear for the clinic
- Helping patients troubleshoot any issues they are experiencing
- Staff must possess great interpersonal skills, committed to delivering a high quality service, willing to work in a team atmosphere, commitment to a strong and honest work ethic, possess pleasant and professional attributes
