Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing daily classroom activities aligned with curriculum standards
- Support students’ learning by providing small group tutoring in subjects such as Math, English,
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and confidence
- Help manage classroom behavior and promote organizational skills among students
- Use Microsoft Office tools to prepare instructional materials, reports, and progress updates
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure a supportive educational environment
- Support students with diverse needs, including those requiring special education accommodations or assistance with disabilities
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is highly preferred
- Classroom experience or tutoring experience demonstrating strong instructional skills
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is highly desirable; fluency in both languages is a plus
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and techniques for engaging young learners
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is advantageous
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and basic computer skills for lesson planning and documentation
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities to balance multiple responsibilities effectively
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
