The Accounts Payable Specialist is a detailed-oriented person who manages tasks independently, has a keen eye for detail, and delivers accurate and efficient results. Location: La Salle, Manitoba.
- Located 10 minutes south of Winnipeg, Manitoba.
- There is no public transportation available to the office.
A Day in the Life
- Accurate entry and coding of invoices while ensuring compliance with policies and record-keeping standards.
- Review and assist in closing purchase orders, ensuring accurate matching of invoices and timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Responding to inquiries, assisting with financial information and ensuring smooth cross-functional collaboration.
- Investigate and resolve supplier billing discrepancies and maintain vendor account reconciliations.
- Issue weekly payments in accordance with terms via EFT, credit card, and e-transfer.
- Process and reconcile corporate Visa transactions and accounts.
- Update and maintain internal reports, audits, and process reviews, ensuring accurate, timely, and organized financial data.
- Complete ad hoc reports and projects as required.
