Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Excavator Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and packers to support various construction projects. This role requires mechanical knowledge, safety awareness, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment. The successful applicant will contribute to the successful completion of excavation, grading, residential backfills, and other heavy equipment tasks essential for construction operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate excavators and other heavy equipment.
- Perform site preparation, excavation, grading, amda tasks as required by project specifications.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
- Assist with the setup of construction sites by moving materials and preparing work areas.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate activities and meet project deadlines.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and equipment usage.
Experience
- Proven experience operating excavators and other heavy machinery in a construction setting.
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Experience in civil construction
- Valid commercial driver’s license
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation is essential.
- Prior experience with heavy equipment operation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.90-$42.40 per hour
