Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Metal Worker to join our construction and restoration team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various metal fabrication techniques and tools, contributing to diverse projects such as building structures, restoration work, and custom metal installations. This role offers an opportunity to work on challenging projects in a dynamic environment, utilizing a wide range of skills including blueprint reading, welding, and construction-related tasks.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate, assemble, and install metal components according to project specifications and schematics
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise fabrication and installation
- Perform construction tasks such as carpentry, flooring installation, tile laying, and painting as needed for project completion
- Assist with restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged metal structures or fixtures
- Use caulking and plumbing skills for sealing or fitting metal parts in various applications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency on site
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Strong knowledge of construction processes including carpentry, flooring installation, tile laying, and painting
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Experience with caulking, plumbing, and restoration techniques is preferred
- Familiarity with schematics for electrical or mechanical systems related to metal work projects
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols during all phases of work
