We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities.
- Assess client conditions and discuss treatment goals to ensure a personalized experience.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and relaxing environment for clients before and after sessions.
- Educate clients on self-care techniques and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments if necessary.
- Keep detailed records of client treatments and progress in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Uphold high standards of customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and addressing client inquiries professionally.
- Stay current with industry best practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
Experience
- Prior experience as a Massage Therapist is preferred but not required; we welcome new graduates with proper certification.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous for understanding client conditions and treatment plans.
- Strong customer service skills to ensure clients feel valued and comfortable throughout their sessions.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively discuss treatment options and address client concerns.
- Certification or licensing required as per state regulations; ongoing education is encouraged to maintain licensure and expand skill set.
