Angus Glen Golf Club is one of Canada’s top semiprivate Golf Courses. Our 36 holes facility has 500+ members, Hosts 100+ Golf tournaments, and 300+ special events such as weddings, corporate meetings and private parties. Angus Glen has played host to numerous premier events, including the Canadian Open, World Juniors and Pan Am games. Our Silo restaurant is open to the Public and has a spectacular view over the 18TH hole of the South Course. It’s perfect for casual and fine dining, small group bookings and drinks on the patio in the Summer months.
POSITION SUMMARY
This entry level position is perfect for anyone that enjoys being outdoors and is interested in working in the industry. The successful applicant will be an energetic and enthusiastic individual, with a passion for providing the highest levels of customer service daily.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Ensuring all golf carts are set up to the day’s requirements
· Greeting guests and members and helping them with their golf bags
· Setting up all golf carts prior to guest’s arrival
· Washing and charging all power carts at the end of the day
· Always maintain a clean and tidy work environment
Driving Range
· Setting up and maintaining the driving range, facilitating clinics with rentals and specific set up requirements
· Drive the range picker to clear the driving range
· Making sure the practice greens are clear at the end of every shift
· Assist maintenance staff at non-peak times filling divots, hand-raking bunkers etc.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
· Golf industry background knowledge helps, but not necessary
· Available to work shifts, early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
· Must be available to work between 3-5 shifts a week
· Following the standards and expectations of the Golf Operations Department
· Possession of a valid G2 driver's license.
Pay: $17.60 per hour
