Family Lifestyle Assistant
Location: Lambeth, London, Ontario
Position Type: Part-Time (Approximately 15-16 Hours per Week)
Compensation: $28.00-$34.00 per hour (based on experience)
Ideal Start: July or August 2026
About Us
We're an active family of six in the Lambeth area of London looking for a long-term Family Lifestyle Assistant to become a trusted part of the rhythm of our home.
We believe a well-run home creates the capacity to invest in the people, responsibilities, and experiences that matter most, knowing our home is being cared for with the same level of pride and attention that we would give it ourselves.
As our family has grown, we've learned that asking for help isn't about doing less. It's about creating the capacity to focus our time and energy where we're uniquely needed.
Our family has spent many years building businesses centred around creating exceptional spaces for our clients. That same appreciation for thoughtful care, organization, and attention to detail extends into our home, where we value spaces that feel welcoming, prepared, and well cared for.
This is not a traditional housekeeping position, nor is it a traditional nanny role.
It is a professional household operations role that combines home management, family support, organization, and thoughtful execution to help a busy household operate at its very best.
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys creating order, anticipating needs, and taking pride in helping a home operate exceptionally well. This role goes far beyond completing a checklist. It's about noticing the little details, creating consistency, and providing thoughtful support that allows our household to feel calm, prepared, and well cared for.
If you're someone who naturally takes ownership, enjoys variety, has exceptional attention to detail, and finds satisfaction in helping a household operate exceptionally well, we'd welcome the opportunity to meet you.

- Assisting with seasonal outdoor responsibilities
We currently share our home with a cat, chickens, and fish and hope to continue growing our family of animals over time. A genuine appreciation for animals is important.
While we've highlighted many of the responsibilities that make up this role, no list can capture every aspect of helping a busy household run well. The successful candidate enjoys variety, adapts as family needs evolve, and naturally asks themselves:
"What can I do today that will make tomorrow easier for the family?"
This Opportunity Is Well Suited For Someone Who...

- Is warm, professional, and comfortable working independently.
- Appreciates both indoor and outdoor work.

Our Commitment

The ideal candidate is warm, personable, and enjoys working independently. Much of the role will be completed while we're working or our children are engaged in their daily routines. We appreciate friendly interactions as our paths naturally cross throughout the day, but the greatest success in this role comes from someone who enjoys taking ownership, working proactively, and quietly keeping our household running exceptionally well.
Reliability is especially important because your scheduled hours create protected time for our work, our children's education, appointments, and the many commitments that keep our family moving forward. We understand that life happens and value open communication, but we're looking for someone who appreciates the importance of consistency and who takes pride in being someone we can confidently rely on.
In return, you'll find a respectful, welcoming environment where your work is genuinely valued, your initiative is appreciated, and you'll have meaningful ownership over a role that has a lasting impact on our family's daily life.
