About the role
We are hiring a Licensed Dental Assistant to join our team at Canada Way Dental in Burnaby. You will work chairside with our dentists and hygienists, supporting a busy patient flow in a well-equipped, modern clinic. This is a Tuesday to Thursday position.
What you'll do
- Provide four-handed chairside assistance for general, restorative, and surgical procedures
- Set up and break down operatories between patients
- Manage sterilization and infection control per BCCOHP and WorkSafeBC standards
- Take and process digital X-rays, iTero scans and other records.
- Support patient education and post-op instructions
- Keep accurate clinical records in our practice management software (Tracker)
What you need
- Active LDA registration with the BC College of Oral Health Professionals (BCCOHP) (required)
- Current CPR certification
- Comfort with digital radiography
- Strong infection control and sterilization practice
- Available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
- Reliable, punctual, and patient-focused
Nice to have
- Experience with Tracker practice management software
- Prior experience in a multi-dentist practice
- 1+ years chairside experience
