We are looking for a motivated and organized Project Manager / Project Coordinator to join our team and help manage projects from award through closeout.
Position Overview
The Project Manager will be responsible for the complete coordination and management of commercial door projects including procurement, scheduling, installer coordination, client communication, project tracking, and project closeout.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment, is highly organized, and can manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from award through completion and closeout
- Review drawings, specifications, hardware schedules, and project documentation
- Coordinate procurement, purchase orders, deliveries, and lead times with suppliers and manufacturers
- Schedule and coordinate installers, site visits, field measurements, and deliveries
- Communicate with General Contractors, Site Superintendents, consultants, suppliers, and clients throughout the project lifecycle
- Track project schedules, outstanding items, deficiencies, and closeout requirements
- Coordinate shop drawings, submittals, product approvals, and closeout documentation
- Prepare/Coordinate change orders, project tracking, overall project organization, etc.
- Assist in billing support as needed
- Resolve project issues proactively and escalate major concerns when required
- Ensure projects are completed professionally, on schedule, and within company standards
- Provide daily updates and weekly reports to General Manager on project status, order status and project-related updates
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in commercial construction, project coordination, or project management
- Experience with Aluminum Entrance Systems is preferred
- Experience with Division 8/10 products or the doors & hardware industry is considered a strong asset
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable reading construction drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and Bluebeam
- Experience with Procore is considered an asset
Pay: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
