The Peace River School Division is seeking applications for a Full-Time Multi Grade Primary Teacher at Lloyd Garrison School. This position will commence on August 27, 2026 and will be a continuing, permanent position.

Lloyd Garrison School is situated at Berwyn, Alberta, located about 162 kms from Grande Prairie, Alberta and is located at 4714-51 Ave, Berwyn, AB T0H 0E0 . This school has a large Mennonite student body. This is a very remote location.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in teaching in a multi grade environment from grades 1-9

Strong classroom management skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting

Excellent communication skills with students, staff and parents

Ability to contribute to a positive, safe and caring learning environment

An understanding of rural community and culture
Requirements:

Must hold or be eligible for a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate

Provide an acceptable current Vulnerable Sector Check (dated within six (6) months of your application.)
This teaching position falls under the collective agreement between the Alberta Teachers' Association and the Peace River School Division.
Annual Salary Range:$ 66,520 to $ 112,451 (dependent on experience and education in accordance with the between the Alberta Teachers' Association and the Peace River School Division).
