McKenzie Veterinary Services is seeking a compassionate and motivated Veterinary Assistant to join our team. About the Role
As a Veterinary Assistant, you will play an essential role in supporting our veterinarians and technicians while helping provide exceptional care to our patients and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians and technicians during examinations and procedures
- Safely handle and restrain animals
- Prepare, clean, and maintain treatment and surgical areas
- Sterilize and organize surgical instruments and equipment
- Monitor and care for patients before and after procedures
- Administer treatments and medications as directed
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Provide excellent customer service and compassionate support to pet owners
- Assist with general hospital cleanliness and organization

Schedule:
This is a full-time position. Our hospital is open 6 days per week, and this position may require weekend hours.
