Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Unloader / General Labourer to join our team. This role involves heavy lifting, loading and unloading shipments, and supporting warehouse operations to ensure efficient distribution processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse environments, familiarity with heavy equipment, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced setting. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in logistics, equipment operation, and warehouse management systems.
Duties
- Load and unload shipments using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, or cranes
- Assist with order picking and packing for shipping and receiving operations
- Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, order pickers, and crane systems following safety protocols
- Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing inventory and ensuring accurate stock placement
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals
- Assist in construction or maintenance tasks as needed within the warehouse environment
- Use warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records accurately
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely, handling materials of various sizes and weights
Skills
- Prior experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related fields preferred
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with heavy equipment operation such as forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, and order pickers
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods
- Experience with order picking, load & unload procedures, and general labour tasks in a warehouse setting
- Knowledge of construction or industrial environments is a plus
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow safety guidelines diligently
- Physical stamina for prolonged periods of standing, lifting, and moving materials

Pay: $16.60-$20.00 per hour
