Join Brighton Children's Centre as an On Call Educator in Brighton. In this role, you will support our team in delivering engaging educational experiences that foster children's development and well-being. Responsibilities
- Support daily activities and educational programs tailored to children's needs.
- Assist in creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children.
- Collaborate with team members to implement curriculum plans.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
- Support children with special needs or disabilities as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Adapt to varying daily needs and contribute positively to the centre's team dynamics
Qualifications
- Must have valid CPR and first aid Level C
- Must have valid Vulnerable Sector check
- Registered Early childhood Educator or experience working in a childcare setting preferred.
- Proven experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles.
- Ability to support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities.
- Enthusiasm for fostering a nurturing learning environment.
- Prior experience in special education is an asset.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and responsibilities.
Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
