Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all food is cooked to the proper temperature and meets quality standards
- Follow food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area
- Serve dishes promptly and efficiently during busy service hours
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Maintain proper food handling procedures at all times
- Restock supplies and assist with inventory management as needed
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knowledge of food handling safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings if required
