The Roxa Integrated Clinic is devoted to delivering the highest quality wellness support to our clients. We are currently seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner, who is passionate about supporting the well-being of Veterans by assisting in the completion of federal health care forms that connect Veterans to benefits. The role centres on conducting medical evaluation and diagnostics on injuries that clients received during their military service.

Requirements:
· Active registration in good standing with the relevant Alberta governing body (e.g., the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta) and current practitioner liability insurance.
· Priority will be given to practitioners with experience in holistic, trauma-informed, and client-centred wellness approaches.
· A history of ‘doing their own work’ so that they are self-driven and can work at a level that supports clients wellness and administrative needs.
· Excellent self-care and the capacity to self-regulate, maintaining personal well-being while working in a healing profession.
· Proficiency with online tools such as the scheduling software, Jane.
Education:
· A recognized nursing degree and master’s degree for the Nurse Practitioner designation.
· Priority given to candidates who have pursued additional training beyond their core program, particularly in wellness, health promotion, or trauma-informed care.
Clinical Support:
· Coordinate and navigate client care, including referrals, follow-up scheduling, and liaison with external health and community resources to ensure client supports.
· Provide clinical evaluations on client’s current state of injury, and provide education that fills gaps in their understanding by drawing on clinical knowledge and experience.
· Support the interdisciplinary team with intake and screening, and provide recommendations for the most appropriate services the client should pursue.
· Within their professional scope and in keeping with the clinic’s wellness focus, offer general well-being check-ins and supportive guidance as appropriate.
Duties:
· Communicate with and maintain kind, collaborative relationships with fellow practitioners and administrative staff.
· Maintain an effective working relationship with reception staff who will allocate clients.
· Engage in ongoing personal and professional development so as to foster meaning in work and to avoid burnout.
Pay: $60.00-$70.00 per hour
