We are seeking a Relief Pharmacist for ongoing weekend coverage with a community pharmacy client in Edmonton, Alberta. This opportunity is ideal for pharmacists looking to supplement their income with consistent weekend work while maintaining flexibility in their schedule.
The assignment is available immediately and runs for 6 months, with a variety of shift options available.

Schedule: Weekend Coverage
System: Kroll
Compensation: $60 per hour
Shift Times: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM, 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM (for pharmacists seeking additional hours)
Work Environment
- 100–150 prescriptions per day
- Community pharmacy setting
- Established workflow and support systems
- Consistent weekend coverage requirements
- Kroll-based pharmacy operation
Responsibilities
- Verify and dispense prescriptions accurately
- Provide patient counselling and clinical services as required
- Maintain compliance with provincial regulations and pharmacy standards
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure efficient workflow
- Deliver exceptional patient care and customer service
Qualifications
- Licensed Pharmacist eligible to practice in Alberta
- Comfortable working with Kroll
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Reliable and professional approach to patient care
- Community pharmacy experience preferred
