Job Description
Are you physically fit and looking for a new and exciting challenge? We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Moving Associate to join our Durham team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to guest service, and a thorough understanding of best practices for handling personal possessions and commercial goods.
DYMON Storage provides convenient service for our guests, moving in and out of our storage facilities. We are looking for motivated, reliable and team-oriented individuals to join our growing team as a moving associate.
- Safely operate cargo vans and cube, and transport trucks while obeying all traffic laws
- Ensure safe and legal parking
- Pack and wrap furniture and household items carefully and properly for transport
- Load and unload items into moving trucks
- Commitment to provide a high level of customer service
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Available to work flexible shifts Monday to Friday and occasionally Saturdays
- 40 hours per week
Experience/Requirements
- Clean-cut appearance
- Experience working with hand tools
- Previous moving experience an asset
- Physically fit – must be able to lift 75 lbs for extended periods of time
- Energetic and positive attitude; critical thinking skills
- A must: Friendly and professional customer service skills
- Interested in growing within our company
- No criminal record or convictions
