Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Dishwasher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cleaning and food service operations, with prior restaurant, hotel, or hospitality experience preferred. Responsibilities
- Operate dishwashing equipment to thoroughly clean dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen tools
- Ensure all items are sanitized and stored properly for use during food preparation and service
- Assist with basic food handling and preparation tasks as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including counters, sinks, and surrounding surfaces
- Support the kitchen staff by providing clean dishes promptly for food service operations
- Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to uphold health standards
- Assist with waste disposal and recycling procedures to ensure a tidy work environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in dishwashing within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards
- Ability to operate commercial dishwashing equipment efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure in a busy environment
- Prior experience with food preparation, cooking, or serving is a plus
