About the Role
Acumen Agency is seeking an experienced Government Proposal Writer to identify, prepare, and submit high-quality government proposals, RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and tender responses.
We're looking for someone with a proven track record of winning government contracts and an understanding of the proposal lifecycle from opportunity identification through submission.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify relevant government RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and tender opportunities.
- Analyze solicitation requirements and develop compliant proposal strategies.
- Write, edit, and format compelling technical and administrative proposals.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather required information.
- Ensure proposals meet all submission requirements and deadlines.
- Maintain proposal documentation and compliance records.
- Track proposal outcomes and recommend improvements.
Requirements
- Experience writing successful government proposals.
- Strong understanding of procurement portals and tender processes.
- Excellent English writing and editing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience with federal, state/provincial, or local government procurements is an advantage.
Compensation
Performance-Based Compensation
This is a commission/performance-based opportunity. Compensation is paid based on successful contract awards and project outcomes rather than a fixed monthly salary. Specific compensation details will be discussed during the interview process.
