Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender/Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are preferred. Responsibilities
- Take orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Serve food and beverages to guests promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, tables, and bar stations in accordance with health regulations
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service and addressing any needs or concerns
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously, demonstrating effective time management skills
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service operations
- Follow all food safety protocols and uphold sanitation standards in the restaurant environment
Skills
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly desirable
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing tabs
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly while adhering to legal requirements
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact with guests
- Hospitality-oriented attitude with a focus on creating a welcoming environment
