Overview
We are seeking a entry level skilled and detail-oriented Mold Designer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise mold designs that meet project specifications and industry standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative manufacturing processes through advanced CAD system design and mechanical engineering expertise.
Duties
- Develop detailed mold designs using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, and Pro/ENGINEER.
- Create and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and blueprints for mold fabrication.
- Utilize Revit, MicroStation, NavisWorks, and Bluebeam for project coordination and review.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers and construction teams to ensure system design integrity.
- Prepare assembly instructions and 2D animations to facilitate manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Conduct design reviews, make modifications based on feedback, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Assist in the development of innovative mold solutions by applying mechanical knowledge and system design principles.
- Support the creation of detailed schematics for manufacturing, assembly, and testing phases.
Skills
- Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, MicroStation, NavisWorks, and Bluebeam.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with a background in mechanical engineering or related field.
- Knowledge of construction processes related to mold fabrication and assembly.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in design accuracy.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
