5 Ton Truck Driver - Prince Rupert, BC
Full-Time | 40 hours per week
A well-established transportation company is currently seeking reliable and safety-focused Class 5 Drivers to join our Prince Rupert operations team. This position plays an important role in supporting daily pickup and delivery operations within the LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) transportation industry. We are looking for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, take pride in customer service, and are committed to safe and professional driving practices.
Available Shifts – Tuesday to Saturday
- 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
- 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
What You’ll Do
- Complete local pickup and delivery routes safely and efficiently
- Load and unload freight as required
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Ensure freight is handled securely and accurately
- Provide professional customer service at pickup and delivery locations
- Maintain accurate paperwork and electronic records
- Work collaboratively with dispatch and warehouse teams
Qualifications
- Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean abstract
- Previous commercial driving experience preferred
- Experience in the transportation or LTL industry is considered an asset
- Ability to safely lift and move freight as required
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-oriented
- Forklift experience is an asset
