Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage services to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our clients. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of medical terminology related to health and bodywork, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. The Massage Therapist will work in a welcoming environment dedicated to improving clients’ health and relaxation through personalized treatments.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities.
- Assess client conditions and discuss treatment goals to develop personalized therapy plans.
- Maintain detailed records of client treatments and progress.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and relaxing environment for clients before, during, and after sessions.
- Educate clients on self-care techniques and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or wellness practices.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation protocols.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns and provide a comfortable experience.
- Stay current with industry trends and continuing education opportunities to enhance skills.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Massage Therapist is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy, physiology, and health conditions is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly explain treatment procedures and address client questions or concerns.

Pay: $25.00-$50.00 per hour
