About Us:
Bloom Adult Day Program services neurodiverse adults in the Hamilton area by offering a safe, supported and enriched recreation-based day program. We are a very active and engaging program that always strives to deliver individualized, quality recreation programming. We employ a wide variety of supports and strategies to aid in communication, life skills development and behaviour management. Respect for our clients, their support needs and their goals are our highest priorities.
We consistently observe and modify programming to suit each individual, identifying possible barriers, as well as developing goals. The ability to be flexible and engage in problem-solving on an ongoing basis is essential.
We are looking for a team member who exhibits respect, positivity, flexibility and a passion for their work. Reliability and consistency in attendance are incredibly important due to the nature of our program and the amazing clients we serve.
Our team operates collaboratively to identify needs and create solutions, as well as support new ideas for programming. We know how important it is to feel valued and respected as a team member and we actively work to achieve that every day for our staff.
As our program is very physically active, we need team members with tons of energy, ready to move with our crew all day!
Ultimately we are looking for someone who has a desire to learn and grow, from both our team as well as from our clients. If you think that you exhibit all of these qualities, we would love to hear from you!
