Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. Your ability to multitask and manage time effectively will be key to your success in this role.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking drink orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and adhere to responsible serving practices.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Might need to run, buzz and serve tables as required.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
- Assist in restocking supplies as needed and maintain inventory levels for bar items.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Worked at a bar before.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations within the food industry.
- Experience with cash handling and familiarity with POS systems is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is required.
