Job Overview
Speak Squad is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide expert nutritional guidance, develop personalized meal plans, and support patients in achieving their health goals. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency with electronic medical records, and a compassionate approach to patient care. Bilingual abilities and customer service experience are considered valuable assets for this position.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients and clients
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans based on medical history and dietary needs
- Monitor patient progress and adjust plans accordingly to ensure optimal health outcomes
- Educate patients on proper nutrition, healthy eating habits, and lifestyle modifications
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records of all patient interactions
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate care and ensure consistency in treatment plans
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy
- Assist in community outreach programs to promote nutritional awareness and wellness initiatives
Experience
- Valid registration as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) from an accredited program
- Prior experience working in clinical or community health settings is preferred
- Proficiency with electronic medical records systems is required
- Strong computer operation skills, including familiarity with common software applications
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to effectively serve diverse populations(Portuguese or Spanish)
- Excellent customer service skills with a compassionate approach to patient interaction
