Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth across various markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lumber sales, business development, and account management, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where leadership, strategic thinking, and customer relationship management are essential. The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in developing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and fostering long-term client partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients in the lumber industry
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and new opportunities
- Provide product knowledge and technical expertise to clients
- Negotiate and close sales deals to achieve sales targets
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction
- Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to management
- Attend industry events and trade shows to expand network and promote products
Requirements:
- Strong sales skills with previous experience in lumber sales or related field
- 3 years experience in the Lumber Sales
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of lumber grades, types, and pricing
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting sales targets
Pay: $90,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
