Job Summary
GAMEYARD is hiring a part-time Digital Marketing Specialist to help us stay visible, trusted, and booked across Milton, Halton, Peel, and the West GTA.
This remote, hourly role manages GAMEYARD’s day-to-day digital presence across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, Google Business Profile, and light website updates. The main job is to turn real GAMEYARD events into strong short-form content, local proof, customer trust, and booking inquiries.
The right person should understand how social content supports Meta campaigns, Google Ads, local SEO, Google Business Profile, reviews, landing pages, and website traffic. Hands-on experience with paid campaigns or SEO is a strong asset, but this is primarily a content and digital marketing execution role.
Most work (90%) is remote, but occasional local event capture may be needed. Ability to travel within approximately 50 km of Milton is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Edit short-form videos and photos using CapCut, Canva, Adobe tools, or similar platforms.
- Turn event footage into reels, posts, stories, captions, and Google Business Profile updates.
- Repurpose content across GAMEYARD’s social channels.
- Create content that supports bookings, not just views.
- Set up, monitor, and improve Meta Ads and Google Ads campaigns.
- Track campaign performance, leads, website actions, and cost per lead.
- Maintain a simple content calendar and propose practical campaign ideas.
- Organize event media and select the strongest clips and photos.
- Support reviews, comments, DMs, and booking-related inquiries.
- Make light WordPress and Elementor updates when needed.
- Follow GAMEYARD’s family-friendly, safety-first brand style.
Experience
- 2+ years of hands-on digital marketing or content experience.
- Strong short-form video editing skills.
- Comfortable using Canva and CapCut.
- Hands-on experience managing Meta Ads and Google Ads.
- Good copywriting skills.
- Familiar with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, Google Business Profile, and Meta Business Suite.
- Basic understanding of local SEO, GA4, UTMs, and website traffic.
- WordPress or Elementor experience is an asset.
- Experience with local services, events, recreation, sports, camps, or family-focused businesses is an asset.
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
