We are currently recruiting for a personal support worker to assist a male employer with Muscular Dystrophy. He is looking for a responsible and cool people to meet his care needs and enable his independence.
Location:
- Vancouver (near Nanaimo sky train station)
Shifts and Hours:
- Shifts are 24 hours
- Sunday: 9 AM - 9 AM
- Back-up/on call shifts also available
Compensation:
Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):
- Activities of daily living and personal care including bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming
- Assist the client with transfers using mechanical & ceiling lift
- Assist with suctioning through the mouth
- Meal preparation and G-tube feeding
- Light housekeeping
- Medication administration
Required Qualifications:
- Caregiver experience is an asset
- Willingness to get trained
- Fully vaccinated
