Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards and safety guidelines
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, taking orders and addressing customer inquiries
- Handle cash transactions accurately and manage cashier duties with integrity
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment
- Assist with upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Follow food safety protocols and ensure proper food handling procedures are adhered to at all times
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely order completion during busy periods
- Support team members in various restaurant functions as needed
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Kitchen experience or food industry background is advantageous but not required
- Effective communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Upselling techniques to promote menu items and increase sales
