Position
Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Martlet Basketball Head Coach, the technical specialist - Assistant Coach will assist the full-time staff with various duties related to the administration, training, and competing of the women's basketball program.
Primary Responsibilities:

Record activities during a game and keep track of statistics.

Analyze data and identify game/team/athlete activity/competency trends during the game and post-game. Compile statistics and produce reports for the coaching staff to review

Assist in practices and off-season workouts with individual skill development

Support coaching staff in the implementation of practice and game plans.

Assist with the maintenance and distribution of on-field team equipment.

Assist with practices and off-season workouts with individual skill development, implementation of practice and game plans.

Assist coaching staff with various administrative tasks as required.
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities
-
NCCP Level II Certification (Basketball) or equivalent required

Coaching experience at the elite and/or competitive level required

Knowledge of or prior practical experience in the sport of basketball required

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and work in a team-oriented environment
-
Punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic are required.

Bilingual in French and English
***Safe Sport and CCES Anti-doping training and coursework are mandatory
***Selected candidates must successfully pass their criminal background check.
