Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will support attorneys in managing litigation cases through comprehensive research, document preparation, and case organization. This role requires strong organizational skills, legal knowledge, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Litigation Paralegal will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth progression of cases from inception to resolution.
Duties
- Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis to gather pertinent case information and precedents.
- Draft, review, and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence with precision and attention to detail.
- Manage case files through effective filing, data entry, and document management systems.
- Assist with client interviews and witness interviews to gather relevant information for litigation cases.
- Coordinate with attorneys on project management tasks to ensure deadlines are met and case milestones are achieved.
- Prepare exhibits, summaries, and reports for court filings or internal review.
- Maintain organized case files both electronically and physically, ensuring all documentation complies with legal standards.
- Handle administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and maintaining phone etiquette when communicating with clients, courts, or other parties.
Requirements
- Proven 2 + years experience in a legal role with strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency with legal research tools
- Excellent proofreading, writing skills, and legal drafting abilities.
- Strong project management skills to handle multiple cases simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Experience with data entry, filing systems, and general clerical tasks.
- Ability to conduct effective interviews and gather relevant case information efficiently.
- Demonstrated knowledge of legal procedures related to litigation processes.

Pay: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
