Part-Time to Full-Time Pharmacist - Join Our Wellness-Focused Compounding Pharmacy
We are seeking a compassionate and forward-thinking Part-Time Pharmacist to join our team. Our pharmacy uses the pharmacist-at-intake workflow, where pharmacists work at the top of their scope clinically, and each patient interaction is initiated with a pharmacist at our seated intake. We employ 3 registered pharmacy technicians who lead the dispensing process and perform the package verification step.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient-centred care focused on the whole person.
- Build lasting relationships with patients and provide ongoing support throughout their healthcare journey.
- Conduct comprehensive medication reviews and identify opportunities to optimize therapy and improve quality of life.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to support patient wellness goals.
- Support and oversee non-sterile compounding services.
- Provide education on medications, lifestyle modifications, and wellness strategies.
- Identify and resolve drug therapy problems while promoting safe and effective medication use.
- Administer injections and provide expanded scope clinical services as authorized.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all professional standards and regulations.
Qualifications
- Licensed and in good standing with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals.
- Strong commitment to patient-centred care and wellness.
- Interest or experience in compounding pharmacy is an asset.
- Excellent clinical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to develop trusting relationships with patients and healthcare providers.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
