The Welder / Fabricator is responsible for interpreting technical drawings, fabricating structural components, and completing welding operations to specification. This role works under the direction of a Foreman and contributes to field projects requiring precision, efficiency, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow direction from the Foreman and complete assigned tasks efficiently and safely
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations
- Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies according to project requirements
- Perform tack welding and final welding using electric, gas, arc, MIG, and other welding processes
- Conduct fabrication processes including forming, fitting, cutting, and assembling structural components
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and applicable code requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $31.97-$44.10 per hour
Experience:
- Welding: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Drivers License (required)
- MEWP Certificate (required)
- Fall Protection Certificate (required)
- Confined Space Entry and monitoring Certificate (required)
- Fit Test (required)
