Part-Time Dental Receptionist
Heritage Lane Dental | South Edmonton, Alberta
Compensation: $18–$21 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Saturdays mandatory, with possible additional weekday hours
Heritage Lane Dental is seeking a friendly, dependable, and organized part-time dental receptionist to join our team.
The successful candidate must be consistently available to work every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Additional flexible shifts may be available throughout the week, depending on clinic needs and the candidate’s availability.
Compensation and Benefits

Responsibilities
- Welcome and check in patients professionally and warmly
- Answer incoming calls, text messages, and patient inquiries
- Schedule, confirm, and manage dental appointments
- Collect and update patient information
- Process payments and provide receipts
- Assist with dental insurance verification, estimates, and submissions
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
- Communicate scheduling changes and relevant information to the clinical team
- Help maintain an organized and efficient reception area
- Support patient retention, appointment scheduling, and other practice performance goals
Qualifications
- Previous dental reception or dental office experience is preferred
- Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software is an asset
- Knowledge of dental terminology and insurance processes is an asset
- Strong telephone, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Professional, dependable, organized, and punctual
- Able to manage multiple responsibilities in a busy dental office
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
- Must be consistently available every Saturday
