Hydrovac Swamper
On Call Services is currently looking for a hardworking and safety-focused Hydrovac Swamper to join our team.
This position supports Hydrovac operators on excavation and utility projects while ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Assist Hydrovac Operator during excavation projects
- Handle vacuum hoses and excavation equipment
- Perform site setup and cleanup
- Follow all company safety procedures and OH&S regulations
- Spot utilities and assist with safe digging practices
- Complete daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Communicate effectively with crew members and customers
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license (Class 5 minimum)
- Previous construction, oilfield, hydrovac, or labor experience considered an asset
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy equipment
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work long hours and occasional weekends
- Safety tickets are an asset:
- First Aid
- H2S Alive
- CSTS/CSO
- Ground Disturbance

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
