Select is partnering with our client to recruit a detail-oriented and motivated Production Worker to support laboratory and plant-floor operations. This role combines hands-on sample processing with data tracking and quality support in an agricultural production environment.

Compensation & Hours:
- The rate of pay will start at $23/hr
- Full-time, temporary position
- Rotational shifts may include alternating day and afternoon shifts, with potential overnight work in peak seasons
- Overtime and weekend work may be required during busy period
Position Summary:
- Process treated seed samples and support lab-related activities on the production floor
- Record, track, and manage sample data with a high level of accuracy
- Assist with printing labels/tags and updating process documentation
- Operate small-scale processing equipment following established procedures
- Support quality-related activities, including sample evaluation and basic QA checks
- Identify inconsistencies in results and escalate or troubleshoot as needed
- Prepare, package, and coordinate shipment of samples when required
- Contribute to seasonal tasks such as crop monitoring, inventory support, or field-related activities
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Basic computer skills for data entry and tracking
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow detailed procedures
- Ability to work in environments with dust, chemicals, and varying conditions
- Willingness to complete medical evaluation and fit testing for N95 respirator use
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks
- Valid class 5 driver’s license required
Bonus Points For:
- Experience in agriculture, seed processing, or quality assurance
- Forklift certification
- Familiarity with sample handling, seed cleaning, or production environments
- Post-secondary education in Agriculture, Biology, or a related field
- Knowledge of production agriculture practices
