Job Description
HP1 Roofing is seeking an experienced Roofing Foreman to lead our sloped roofing crews across residential and strata projects. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong technical knowledge, crew management skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a crew of up to 7 roofing employees
- Oversee installation of sloped roofing systems (asphalt shingles, underlayment, flashing, ventilation, etc.)
- Ensure all work meets company standards and local building codes
- Coordinate daily job site activities and manage timelines
- Train, mentor, and support crew members
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Communicate with project managers and clients as needed
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sloped roofing
- Proven experience supervising roofing crews (up to 8 workers)
- Strong knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and plans
- Valid driver’s license (preferred)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Commitment to safety and quality
